What if I forget my password?

Follow the prompts. Use the new password that you get in your email to sign in again. Then, change your password to one you will remember.

What if I do not see my confirmation email or it’s lost in space?

Look in your email spam folder. There is no good reason for it, but some spam filters do not recognize the validity of sign up confirmation links in emails.

Can I have more than one account?

Yes. Use a different email address for each account.

Can I make a special account for a sharing project?

Yes. If you are working on a particular project that involves sharing Symbols with a team, you can create an account for this purpose. Then, you can use a keyword in the account’s first or last name so that your team members can search for friends using that keyword and then request to be a friend of that account. Once you designate them as friends, they will be able to see the symbols in that account that are configured as "Friends Group Only". You can then create all the symbols that the group wants to share within that one account. If one of the team members points you to a Symbol that is in their account (and they configured that symbol for friends to view), you can view it and then re-create it in your account for the rest of the group to see.

Can I place keywords in Public Symbols for a group to find using Search?

Yes, this is another way for a group to share Symbols (and find the shared Symbols), but they will not be private.

How do I Create a Symbol?

Sign In, go to the Create Tab and fill out the form. Once you have created a new symbol. A "Click Here" link will appear in a green box. Click on it and you will be in Edit Mode! Make sure to SAVE as you go!

What is the Intuitive Method for making Symbols?

Create a new Symbol

When you create a new Symbol, you can choose between the "normal way" of making a Symbol which lets you enter data around the Symbol, or you can use the special intuitive method which begins by entering your data into the content field on the right side under the mini symbol.

Make or paste your ideas on the lower right

Once you have your list of ideas typed (or pasted) into the content field on the right, you select the various phrases or words that you think might work around the Symbol.

Fill in the blank lines on the left

Once you have selected a word or a phrase inside the content field, you click on a line on the left, and the word or phrase will appear there. Or, you use the COPY button to help get the text to the list on the left.

You will need data in nine lines at least to form a Symbol.

Number the Ideas according to your picture of the Symbol

When you want to begin placing your ideas around the Symbol, you click on the Circles to Number them 0 through 8.

You can drag and drop the Circles on each other to swap numbers.

You can empty a numbered item by clicking on the text in the line or by dragging the Circle to a Circle with an empty line.

SORT

Once you have nine numbers, you can use the SORT button to put the list in order.

As you number your items, the Symbol on the right shows what you are creating.

Create Symbol

When you are ready to see the idea in full form, click on the CREATE SYMBOL button and you will see the big picture. (Be sure to SAVE your Symbol.)

What are "My Fiends," "Friend Requests," and "Friend Search"?

Registered Users can search for a friend and then request to become friends. Once a friend request is accepted by the other user, the two users can view the Symbols that each of them has configured as "Friends Group Only".

If you know of a keyword in the First or Last name of a registered user, you can find the user using the Search system at the "Friend Search" tab.

Once you find the user, you send a request by clicking on the "Add as Friend" button. The other user must Sign In to view the request and then respond. Once the request is accepted, each user will be able to see one another’s Symbols configured as "Friends Group Only."

Issues or Errors with the functioning of the site

Yes, there are a few errors:

Add an Aspect Routine fails

Advanced users can Add an Aspect while making a Symbol. The Add an Aspect routine does not work properly for every line and can cause data loss when clicking on the reset button. This will be fixed.
